Mysticstar walked into the LegendClan camp, her black-and-white pelt sparkling with early morning dew. Her pelt was fluffed up and soft, making her bright forest green eyes even more beautiful. She sighed happily, exiting the thick, nearly impetrenanable bramble tunnel and trotting gently over to the fresh-kill pile and picking up a young pidgeon. She nodded to her deputy as she sat fluidly down. "Morning, Otterclaw," she mewed happily.

Mysticstar left again, going deep into the heart of the forest. Her eyes fell upon a fat mouse and she dropped into a hunting crouch, stepping lightly and then pouncing on the unsuspecting creature. She killed it quickly. She put one paw over it. "Thank you, StarClan, for this mouse," she murmured, then proceeded to bury it between the roots of a young beech. A crow flitted by, just out of her reach. She leapt into a sturdy oak tree and began stalking it, not noticing when she crossed DuskClan borders.
